Hello,

I recently returned from Italy and had a wonderful time, thanks to the many useful tips from fellow Bogleheads.
The only issue my wife and I had was the flight. We flew economy with American Airlines. Even though we are on the small side, the seats were, nevertheless, uncomfortable and short on leg room. The free wine that was served only helped to a point.The question we are contemplating is whether it is worth it to upgrade our seating the next time we travel abroad.
Any thoughts from anyone that has experience with this issue would be appreciated.

Please help.
